The winter and summer works programs provided seasonal work to 6 individuals who did snow removal, 37 individuals hired as landscapers for a 14 week period, and 12 carpenters who worked 10 weeks in 2008.  With Micmac Employment Training Services (METS) funds, 46 summer students were hired for various projects.
